Hi I have a Samsung R60 laptop (which was running Vista) and I put a larger capacity HDD in and intalled from DVD a fresh copy of Win 7 Ultimate and all updates. Ever since installing Win 7 my battery now lasts only 5 mins and laptop turns off, where as before it would last 2 hours + with Vista. If i stick my old hard drive back in the laptop the battery now lasts 5 mins where as the same day of the install prior to fitting new HDD and Win 7 install battery lasted well over 2 hours. To me it seems Win 7 has killed my battery so I am not happy, not only that I can't reverse it and go back to vista and get the life back. Any others suffered this fate and is there anything I can do like get MS to replace it???
